I do better in a group...need some buddies
Eating out can be tough. Other good tricks just eat half and take the other half home. Order only and app or share a plate. When we go out we often order too much food for the table so try thinking about the WHOLE table.

Good luck!

Constipation After 2 mos on Induction
Hi Everyone,

So I was going great lost 25 lbs and now this week things changed, I am constipated which I never had before this diet or the first 2 months I was on Atkins. I fill out my food journal and I have seen a decrease in overall calories but still getting my net carbs over 20.

I am not a fan of water but I have been trying to drink herbal tea with nothing and seltzer water during the day to get close to 8 glasses a day. I eat green leafy veggies everyday too.

So here are my current questions

1. What can I do to help the constipation?
2. Is it ok to be decreasing calories even though I still have 60 lbs to lose?
3. Does exercise increase weight loss? How many days do you need to do it?

Thanks

Need Help!!!!!!!
I have 3 in under four years too and it way busy so I feel for you. They are all teens now so I have more time for me. When they were little and trying to cook healthy these were a few tricks that worked for me:

1. Buy in quantity (veggies, meat, etc..) its cheaper and make extra for next meal
2. Carve sometime to cook (I do it early in the am)
3. Buy the largest bag of baby spinach it can be used in many things (salads, stir drys, soups, etc..)
4. Cook a large chicken and then use it for several meals (roasted, salads, soup)
5. Cook bacon for breakfast make a couple extra pieces for a chopped salad. Same thing with hard boiled eggs
6. Cut up veggies for easy access for the day
7. Shop the sales at your store and watch for discounted meat usually the day the flyer changes. Bring them home and freeze them and you are good to go.

Go luck and stay strong. Plus remember to rest when you can
