I am a 23-year old nutrition couselor living in AZ. I have browsed through all of the other web weightloss databases (SparkPeople, southbeach, dailytracker, etc) to find something ot reccommend for clients that cant afford the system at the clinic. I like this one the best so I decided to sign up and join. I will be posting many recipes that I have created and rating the ones that are tasty and actually healthy! The most current research on nutrition out dates what I learned while completing my college degree in nutrition. Updated the textbooks!! Whole foods, fruit, vegetables, lean meats, and good fat should be the bulk of the diet. Dairy, Grians, and sweets should be condiments! I am a dance teacher as well and love to cook and try new restaurants/cuisines. I LOVE FOOD, but gotta stay healthy! I think fatsecret is cool!
