June 30, 2015: The more I live, the more I believe that being free of the pull of food, or of any stronghold, is to truly live a free and peaceful life. Very drawn to the Weigh Down method which uses biblical teachings and a spiritual emphasis to become more mindful of food. WD does not prescribe a diet or set of food rules. It teaches a natural, sustainable way to eat the way God intended us to eat, the way we used to eat when we were children: mainly to eat only when the stomach growls and stop when satisfied. And now that summer is finally here, hope to shed 10-15 pounds of excess weight over the next two months. It will take renewed surrender and total obedience to God. My prayers and encouragement go with all of us here on this journey. Special blessings to my FS buddies of many years!! Excited to be with you again!! Love and peace to all:)
