I try to eat 4-6 meals a day and I just started Shaun T's Focus T25 program. Intense :)

Just a mom of two with a bad family medical history, trying to lose weight to avoid future problems.

Started kicking myself into gear on July 20th, 2011. I'd hit 194.3 and decided enough was enough. It was time to start taking care of myself, if not for me, then for my 2 boys (9 yrs and 5). I have a family history of heart disease, strokes, heart attacks, and diabetes. To save myself a lot of trouble in my up coming years, I decided it was time to start putting my health a little higher on the priorities list.

BMI guidelines and goals for myself
Based on 5' 3'' inches
Underweight: 107.2 and below
Normal- 107.3-135.4
Overweight- 135.5-169.3
Dream weight- 125:
Lowest normal- 107.3: I think this would be way too tiny for me, lowest I ever was was 118

Some interesting BMI formulas I found:
Based on the Robinson formula (1983), your ideal weight is 129.3 lbs
Based on the Miller formula (1983), your ideal weight is 134.8 lbs
Based on the Devine formula (1974), your ideal weight is 128.0 lbs
Based on the Hamwi formula (1964), your ideal weight is 126.7 lbs
Based on the healthy BMI recommendation, your recommended weight is 106.1 lbs - 143.4 lbs

According to the new BMI calculations, 137 is the heaviest I can be to be in the normal category, and 101 is the lowest I can be.

Need help cooking
Start mixing the veggies into mashed potatoes lol. That makes every thing tastes better Smile I am pretty picky as well, but I've slowly been experimenting with stuff. Like a year ago, I wouldn't touch califlower, but now I love it. If you want quick meal idea, go to the frozen veggie isle, Birds eye and Green Giant make wonderful little meals that cook up in less than 7 min and taste wonderful. I esp love the the garlic red potatoes and some of the pastas they have.

Ah, I found it, you can set it to weekly, every 2 weeks, or every four weeks. Just go to My Account and it's at the bottom of the page.

Reminders
You can set up weekly reminders to your email, but I'm not sure if you can set it to daily or not. I don't even remember how I set up the weekly because it's been over a year since I set it up lol.

Wanted! Great Exercise Tunes!
Anything upbeat. Techno is a always a good choice. So is Salsa type music, which is what a lot of Zumba is done to.
