I was a chubby child. Now I'm 69 and finally found the secret. I do not want to "LOSE" weight.....I want to "GIVE IT AWAY PERMANENTLY? That has been my problem forever. I would lose weight but each time I would find it again. I know I can do it.

I thought I knew what and how much to eat. At least I should know. I have dieted for 50 plus years and have tried every diet that passed in my vision. I drop it fast and gain it back easier. This time is different. It is not about what I look like or who I will impress.. It is about how I feel about me and my health. I started out writing down absolutely everything that touched my mouth. Then I used FatSecret to calculate nutrition and was I surprised. Way to many calories, way to much fat and carbs and not nearly enough fiber. Really poor nutrition. I started over and am doing better. I plan my meals every morning and calculate the nutrition before I eat. If something happens during the day, I give myself permission to make changes. Calories are important but nutritional values are too. Sure glad I am retired .... This is like a full ime job.
