Hit some life upheavals, and fell out of the old routine of sport etc after moving location for jobs and the old casual adherence to food and activities just doesn't work so easily anymore :( So had to get going with something more reliable. Have found after several weeks of logging on here, the journal watching and comparing with others has really helped motivate me to get back on track and iron out bad habits. Although always terrible in Winter, hoping this big push will get me back to more healthy eating and my happy place again :)

Welcome all advice and pointers am a great listener, and like to hear tips and others' experiences. Especially with recipes!!

Here's my two cents. I notice when i run and enter that on FS - FS reduces my calorific on the rest segment. So, as I was trying to figure out the over pay by FS for the exercise, I realise that FS appears include your stationary expenditure with your exercise component. If you're burning 500 cal an hour by running i.e. physical exertion is arguably the only record a treadmill can make not other physiological functions... are you then also burning 100 cal for base function, does that get us to the differential? Hmm .. it's a quirk but I think FS includes compensation for base function.
