I have a new smoothie maker...any ideas?
You can't mess up a smoothie and they all taste pretty good.
Experiment with your favorite fruits. (There is a smoothie recipe under the FS recipes section that has spinach in it that I am going to try.) I sometimes add ground flaxseed to add some nutty flavor and omega-3 nutrition. I slice up bananas and freeze them for a quick smoothie. The frozen bananas add loads of thickness!

I made a smoothie for my breakfast this morning: (under 300 calories)

1/2 cup Acai juice
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
2 ice cubes
1/2 banana
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
Mix in blender.

Anything goes in a smoothie. You can easily track the nutrition with FS, so you can adapt it to whatever diet plan you follow!

Submitting a recipe
Thanks for your replies.
My recipe is truely diet friendly. I have also thought about using the recipe thing like jessyline...to see what the breakdown of fats, carbs and protein is in other things I cook.
I just made something form the FS recipes that did not work out. I wonder if the measuements were incorrect. Anyway, I was thinking that someone from FS might be the test person to make sure the recipes indeed worked beofre publishing them. Guess not.
