27, Female, Type1 Diabetes

Day One of New Diet and workout program to re sculpt my body to be Lean and strong. I have been very active the past 1 year and half but around July I was put on Steroids for my so called Colitis. This was so hard for me since I never take meds for anything. I am also type 1 diabetic. So adding a Steroid to my intake was not okay with me, but i had no choice (so I thought). I notice instant weight gain, hungry and my menstrual cycle was every two weeks instead of once a month. A few weeks of that an I was done. So I stopped the Steroids. But I fell into a rut I guess I would say. I starting eating processed food (which I never eat) and was depressed about the 10lbs that I put on. I did this for about a month and have added another 5lbs. I Am fed up!! I told myself I would never let myself get out of shape again when I lost the weight and fat before, and what did I do... I FAILED!! But you know what, that's okay because I am back!! I am tired of feeling depressed, embarrassed to see friends and family and feeling sick because I am not taking proper care of myself. So here I am blogging and logging everything I do and everything I put into my mouth - good or back!! I am Going to become Lean and Strong!! Physically and Mentally!! Fat will not win this time I WILL!!
