TOM
i usually put on about 5 or 6 lbs during my TOM but I have found that water and vitamin b suppliment help with the bloating. And yes, the weight will come off right away but it may take you a few days to see a drop in your actual weight. TOM messes everything up!

What was the 'lightbulb moment' that made you realize you needed to lose weight?
When I graduated college in 2008 I weighed 212 lbs and was devistated when I had to get my graduation dress in a size 18 (I also saw the pictures after and that sucked too). I lost about 12 lbs then went to buy clothes for a spring break trip last year and was again heartbroken when I had to buy a size 16. I decided I needed to change something. So I lost another 30 lbs. I got off diet for a while and managed to maintain my weight loss but I never reached my goal. So here I am! Exactly one year later, 40 lbs lighter, a size 10, and ready to reach my GOAL weight!

calling all students...
i know it may be weird but i tend to exercise more when it's finals time! This allows for a LITTLE BIT more snacking, gets my mind away from school AND food, and gets me out of the house (and away from the kitchen!). Also, fat free popcorn, rice cakes, veggies, yogurt, etc. all make for great healthy snacks!
