Hello,
I am 44 years old, a mum of 2, full time teacher. I have recently lost about 8kg and have got back to my training again. I have run a 10M race last sunday in 1hr32 and am training for a half-marathon. My current diet has been as follows for the past 4 weeks:
Breakfast:
Bowl of porridge+ masheed banana+ seeds
Lunch:
Vegetables + rice or couscous or quinoa+ (tofu)+ seeds
Snack: fat free yoghurt+ seeds
Dinner:
Soup or Salad
+ nuts (although I seem to have become a bit allergic to them and have decreased the quantities I have been taken)
+ 3 glasses of water+ 4/5 cups of tea/green tea
I want to leave the diet mode and just concentrate on my running at the moment. I run 5-6/times a day (30-50mn) + swim 3 times a week for 30-45mn.
I find that this new focus has helped me stopping binge eating which was quite frequent in the past year and I could gain and loose 5kg in 2 weeks!
