I'm a very busy woman who works with at-risk youth and has a long commute on transit to and from work. I'm married to an amazing, supportive man who encourages healthy living for both of us, but I feel like our lifestyles have a tendency to slip into being a bit sedentary and eating a bit too large of portions from time to time.

I'm 29, and want to lose a lot of weight before I have a baby sometime in the next year. I want to be as low as possible before I get pregnant -- a lot of my girlfriends have had terrible times losing their baby weight, I want to try to have a proactive approach.

I'm perfectly healthy and functional, and I have a very positive outlook on my body -- I've never dieted or done anything to punish my body. But I know that I will look and feel even better if I lose some weight, especially at this time in my life.

I'm here to get encouragement and meet others who are in the same situation.

Tips for avoiding night snacking?
Hello all,

I'm brand new here (though I've done WW before). I have lost a lot through WW in the past (25+ lbs I've more or less kept off), but my body keeps going up/down 10lbs throughout the year. I can't seem to get out of this plateau. I think I'm sabotaging myself by eating at night.

Does anyone have ideas for how to stop myself from doing this? I'm desparate to change my behaviour!
