After multiple knee operations and back problems, time is no longer my ally. The poundage needs to come off, and come off NOW.
On the third anniversary of my Mother's untimely death, my brother nearly went into cardiac arrest, due to obesity and sleep apnea that was exacerbated by the obesity. He is the only living relative I have left in my immediate family. Weight problems scare me, and while I am not nearly as heavy as I was years ago, there's an extra 70 pounds that needs to go. So here we are.

Crabby-Can't exercise
Its been such a pain, esp. for work. The shoulder is really acting up because I've been working all day. Cooked dinner tonight with one arm. I guess I should do it more often....everyone said dinner was great. :+/
I think I might have to pay a visit to the Chiropractor this week, too. Going to go chug some more magnesium, too. Hope you feel better!

Crabby-Can't exercise
Oh, does this ever stink! I get all focused on starting this life-style-eating-changeover in conjunction with a feasible exercise plan I can stick to....only to get pulled muscles-one after the other. I have a high pain tolerance, but dang. The first one was the muscle in the shoulder blade that popped while doing a plank. Less than a week later, as its almost healed, the pectoral minor in the right side goes into a major spasm, and then a charlie-horse up the right side of my torso. What gives???? I never thought I'd say this, ever...but I miss doing crunches. And planks. The pain is intolerable, though...so gotta wait it out. Sad
In the meantime, I am sticking to the eating plan...lo-lo carbs, lots of clean veggies, clean meats, healthy fats; replacing some coffee with citrus infused water. Stairs, and housecleaning are going to have to suffice for "exercise".
