Well today, I am on my 5th day with Atkins induction phase. Doing good I suppose...already lost 6 lbs. This being the heaviest I have been ...even more than when I was 9 months pregnant...is time to make serious changes. In my forties, my body isn't working the way it used to. Weight gain is around the middle, metabolism is slowed, and taking the weight of is much harder this time around. I did it before, 13 years ago....with a lot of time on my hands and a lot of work at the gym. This time ...don't have as much time to spend on myself as I have a 13 year old daughter. Atkins seems to be the best choice for me...giving me the headstart/boost during induction phase.
