Sweating at the gym
So I sweat a lot at the gym (just my genetic make up I guess?) and some people just ignore me but others look disgusted. I always wear deodorant (can't say the same for a few of the so called "non-sweaters"Wink and I always wipe everything down with the disinfectant spray after I'm done. There is no way I'm going to decrease the intensities of my workout since I want to loose weight but what can I do to make people stop staring/ how to stop sweating so much? And are people actually appalled by people that sweat a lot at the gym or are they just in awe at the sheer force of power besides them?

7 NEW RULES for the Gym
OMG I have a great one: Wear deodorant!!!! No one wants to die from your excessive BO. Also Don't douse yourself with perfume!!! And if you smoke I would prefer not to smell it. Seriously I experienced all of these odors yesterday at the gym. I almost chucked up my cookies (aka threw up). YUCK!!! Some people are so disgusting. And I think it's okay if people sweat a lot at the gym as long as they aren't sweating on me, they clean up/wipe down equipment afterwards, and THEY DO NOT SMELL!.

Howdy! Good luck in your quest to loosing weight! Also note that if you log your workouts you can't delete any of them. I made a mistake and put in something that I didn't do but it wouldn't let me delete it Sad Also the food log is tedious but it tells you how much you are eating so if you're a binger like me, it really keeps you in check. But I'm one week in and doing okay! Also find something to motivate your weight loss. Mine is I'm going on a trip and want to look good and fit into skinny jeans and not look ... yeah. And I have a biking challenge that will be 100x easier if I was lighter and I want to beat everyone! But find what works for you. Good luck!

Gaining weight
Ah people with the same problems as me. I'm a chronic binge eater (but not the eat and throw up type though). When ever I eat that much I force myself to go to the gym and feel really sick because I ate to much. I decided to start a journal and stop this madness because of how I feel.

The way I control this is I buy snacks for 2 or less days and food as well. This way I have nothing to eat except for disgusting foods like celery and other healthy foods I don't like. If I buy fruit I eat it all. SO because I have so little food I have to go to the store more so I walk there = exercise.

Also it takes resistance and motivation. DON'T LOOSE CONTROL OF YOURSELF!!! You can defiantly do it. Fight the mental battle within and resist! I struggle with this every day but I do other things like study what I work, do my hobbies, go to the gym etc. Stay away from things that will allow you to eat.

I have other problems with eating after the gym. Try not to do this! Wait an hour or so and force yourself to eat a little meal. Usually after the gym I'm famished and binge. Bad bad bad. Try not to let yourself slide.

Another thing that I have to start doing is set a eating boundary so no eating after 20:00 (8:00pm) or no eating anything big so have a fruit or something.

Hope some of this helps! But I'm not a professional and I'm pretty much in the same boat and fail often. But you can always try and try again. The more I progress the more I cannot let myself cheat. So good luck!!!
