Mid-30s male, married, father of two gradeschool kids. Six months in remission from cancer. Need to prioritize my overall health. Cancer has scared me into action.

My plan includes greatly increasing my activity, with swimming (3x per week), yoga (3x per week), and walking the dog and playing with kids outside as much as possible now that warmer weather is here. Also got a sit-stand desk at work (desk job), so planning to stand half the day as much as possible. Also daily meditation.

As for food, no drastic changes at first, just tracking intake here and reducing sweets, not eating after dinner. Will likely make more changes going forward, but introducing a lot of exercise is a big change, and don't want to change too much too quickly (have burned out in the past doing so).
