My job is incredibly sedentary. I'm at my desk all day. I've challenged myself to walk the stairs for 30 minutes 3 days/wk during my lunch break. Week 1: challenge met. Week 2: didn't make it once! It can be extremely difficult to pry myself away from work.

I know I've got to incorporate moving movement and exercise into my day. Help!

I am having the exact same problem! I even tried setting an alarm to go off every hour to get myself to stand up and stretch, yet I find myself simply killing the alarm off, and continuing with work.

I guess it is a matter of doing something until it becomes a proper habit. I also have noticed, that it really really helps to have a proper support network. People who will encourage, inspire, and check up on you, to make sure you are sticking to your goals!

I tried and failed at the alarm thing too.

I found sitting on a yoga balance ball at my desk helped me keep my core tight, even though I wasn't doing situps everyday.
