I'm a CPA so when I'm working 12+ hours a day 6+ days a week during tax season everything else goes on the back burner. Now that I'm in the down season, I'm trying to get creative on how to avoid the weight gain during my busy months followed by the struggle to loose it again each spring.

Well, when we are busy we tend to grab whatever is nearby and eat that to save time. So, make sure your office is full of healthy go to snacks already packaged in one serving sizes that way it will be a little harder to overeat. Exercise is probably hard, but try to get up and walk or jog around your office every few hours at least. It also might make you more productive because exercise can help you focus.

I also have a busy season, but it involves travel and so I had to find a healthy way to eat in the car. Unfortunately, I usually tend to not eat when I am busy and that isn't good either.

Good luck! Loose it now and then you only have to maintain during your next busy season so it might be a little easier.

I also work 12 hour 6 Days during tax seasons... I find that if I have a large breakfast it keeps me from snacking through the day. Also packing my lunch helped me make sure I stayed on track when I couldn't leave for lunch. My co workers survived off Jimmy Johns, McDonalds and Pizza hut... all of them gained 15lbs or so. I was able to lose 10 lbs by planning a little ahead and eating at home and bringing left overs for lunch. I also learned a few new recipes Smile

Good job! Doesn't it feel good to accomplish something that is difficult?

Well, now is the time to turn the 10 to 20. You can do it, you already did it once.

I finally met my first goal. I tried on a bathing suit today and fit in a size 12. I was in a size 15 in April. I bought it and used it today. Pool was cold, but I didn't care. The best part was it was 50% off.
