I've now been on SBD for 3 weeks and I've lost 6 lbs. Not as good as what I've read, but being hypothyroid and 38 and not having been able to lose and keep off 1 lb or more a week i YEARS< i'm THRILLED. I was really glad to be able to add 1 starch and 1 piece of fruit last week, and looking forward to following the Phase 2 week 2 plan in the Super Charged book this week.

How is everyone else doing? This group is TOO QUIET!!!

Started South Beach Diet Phase 1 on 12/30/12. I *WILL* get to goal this time!

Congratulations Melissa. I am also hypothyroid and this is the only diet that I see results. I know what you mean when you say thrilled. I started Feb. 2nd at 196 and now I am 184, so I am thrilled too. I am happy to have a little fruit and starch too. I have been on original south beach but just bought the supercharged book today so not sure of what it says yet, but looking forward to it. Good eating to you.
