Anyone in PHASE 1? I started phase 1 today. It went great! I feel a slight difference already. My body feel lighter. I am looking for someone who is in PHASE 1 and who would like to post daily to each other how our day went. Anyone out there that would like to get in this with me?

I am on the second week of phase one. I feel great following this program. I had a few struggles the first week, as I seem to enjoy a glass of wine that turns into a bottle, that leads to snacking. LOL, but, I didn't fall too far off, and managed to lose almost seven pounds. I find that I am recording most of my foods, which is good for me. I would be happy to check in daily.

Slahj,I have the same issue re wine LOL. I started Phase 1 a few weeks ago, followed closely (as a vegetarian) the first week but didn't lose as much as other people are claiming to lose. It was super discouraging and the last 5 days I have been eating more carbs. I'm back on Phase 1 today though!

I am also back on phase one today. I actually had lost almost 7 lbs the first week. I think the diet is pretty easy to follow, I. Find myself not eating enough for the day. I am going to be a cheerleader for us right now. WE can do it.

Thank you for the encouragement. I am now in PHASE 2. my body was screaming for sugar, so I went into PHASE 2 to get some fruit in. I choose not to have most of the carbs that southbeach says is ok, just bcx I know from experience that these foods make me gain weight and lead me back to carbs. I made a decision to have a grain 2-3x/week at dinner. This will also keep my blood sugar happy. I am hypoglycemic. I also made a decision to weigh 1x/month, anymore than weighing 1x/month makes me obsessed with losing weight. I need to have peace on the journey to losing weight. If I get too obsessed with weight loss, it leads me back into overeating. Will post a weight on June 1st.

HELP!!! Is there anyone on here that is doing SB??? I am starting today & I could truly use the accountability of having a buddy. Encouragement, recipes to share, etc. Thank you
