I'm 37 years old, 5'2", weighing at 138 pounds with small bones, and I wish to get my weight down between 110 to 115 pounds. I've been having extremely bad problems with my stomach and will be getting a colonoscopy/EGD done next Tuesday, so I'm on a special diet until after this. When I first went to the GI doctor, I weighed in at 144 pounds. The only time I've ever weighed this was when I was pregnant with daughter and son, and my son is now 2.5 years old. My whole life I have been skinny; never had weighed even 100 pounds, so for me, I feel extremely overweight. I know that I'm young, but I do not look good. I have a sway back and a big belly, and I get comments ALL the time about me being pregnant when I'm not. So, I have to lose this belly. So far, I have lost 6 pounds since 3 weeks ago (2 pounds per week). I do work out every other day by doing ab workouts, lifting free weights, and walking all at home. I do not have a gym membership nor can I afford one. I am going to take up swimming again but I would have to get my lungs checked to make sure I can do it on a more serious basis. I have asthma. Anyway, I didn't mean to write so much. I just wanted to introduce myself. Thanks for reading. Melanie

Hi and welcome. I'm new here as well, so its great to make your acquaintance.
If you can spend years beating yourself up mentally and remain standing, you can HANDLE a few muscle cramps and cravings. A little pain has NOTHING on feeling insecure. Remember that next time you wanna quit. You can do this!
