thin to me is not having my profile look like I'm still pregnant and my back not hurting from these double dangs for breasts (36-38DD)! The BF loves them but I remind him that he's not the one wearing them!!! I don't want to be rail thin, just a healthy thin like I was as a teenager without the eating disorder and over compulsive exercise going on to impress a boy!

Thin to me is being able to fit into clothes that are not in the Plus section! the first time, I felt "thinner" was when i was able to sit with my legs crossed and I was beginning to have a neck again. Then it was seeing my stomache roll shrink enough to where when I laid on my back, it didn't look so round lol. I guess I feel thinner whenever I see the changes in my body and face--like the lil dent underneath my cheekbones.

Thin to me would be like you said not having your boobs sit on your stomach. Or having your kids share your lap with your stomach either. I'm 5'1" 177lbs and a goal of 125. I am just starting....again. I think I would feel thin when I'm not afraid to be naked in front of my husband. Winded when I walk up the stairs. And when I can stop using my stomach to prop up my plate.

I think I was thin once, i was 19 yrs old and after the shock of finding out I had ballooned out to 123 lbs I seriously dieted and exercised for 9 months and got down to 96 lbs!! But I like having T&A and I find that under 105 I start to loose my boobs! I am a 34D now and so thin to me is keeping my bust while diminishing my thighs and tummy sufficiently, its a delicate balance. I don't tackle hard core muscle building/weight training until I am very close to my ideal weight (within 5lbs) because I build muscle very quickly and don't want it bulking me up!! Thin is wearing anything nyour wardrobe and not having to look in the mirror!!

I'll feel thin when I can look at myself in a picture without cringing...when my heels stop hurting after long walks...when I can get into my size 6, or better yet, size 4 jeans...

Thin is being a size 8, not having to suck your tummy in, not pouting when i look at myself in the mirror, and not having beefy arms or thighs. I dont like to refer to it as 'thin' though. Slim is a better word. I want to be lean and healthy.

When I weighed 175lbs, two years ago, I thought thin, or as I aim for, "fit", would be about 130 lbs, however that wasn't the case. I made it to 118 and still had no bones showing and a few flab areas. It seems I am what is considered a small frame. In the last year, I've fallen off the wagon off and on, at least in the eating department (I never stopped working out), and put 15 back on. I'm now trying to get back into the frame of mind to reach my goal of 110. I know I've got 2 yrs of muscle under there, now I want to see it!

I felt thin at 150. It was great. I rode horses, could work all day. I had lots of energy - and my clothes were awesome. I am working hard to get back there.

I'm 54, 5'3", and I don't think I have been regularly below 200 lbs since I was in my early 30's. I have a photo of myself at age 26 when I was at the peak of fitness one summer (many miles of cycling). I felt good (but not exactly thin) and think I look slender in the photo, yet I was around 145lbs and just fit into a size 12 pair of tennis shorts. If I had had a better control of my eating, I probably would have weighed less. For many years since then, I would look at that photo and think "If I could be as thin as I am in that photo, I would be content with that." I don't need to be 121-125 like the charts say. I also will feel thin when I no longer feel as wide as I am short.

To me, I'm 5' 1", I would say I was happiest when I was a UK size 6 dress size (that's a US 2 I think). But that was 7 years ago when I was 40! I'm now 47 and struggling to get into a UK size 10 so have just re-started with healthier eating, eating less, and upping the exercise a lot more. I'm currently 128 lbs and just want to lose whatever is necessary to get back into a dress size 8.

I know a way I could probably lose about 7lbs in about two hours - but that would involve abdominoplasty to take away the excess skin left over from two pregnancies - damn you kids, damn you!!!! (Love them to bits obviously x).

Good to meet you all.

Thin to me would be getting back the body I had when I was 18 (before I met my other half, he openly admits he is a feeder!. I hated my body back then and have hated my body for as long as I can remember, but its the only one I have and I would do anything to have that figure back. You never know how lucky you are till its gone hey :-/

I'm 4'11 and thin to me will be 105! I have been at that weight before and LOVED the confidence that came along with it Smile

Thin to me is freedom. Freed from the muffin top, the heavy boobs, the thunder thighs, the knees wrapped with meat and fat, the "love" handles. Girls, the time to shape up, to work towards health is NOW. Some are blessed by their genes like my husband whom I met when we both were 105 pounds wearing the same jeans. Today, years later he is still 105 lbs whereas my pant size reaches 14 to come down now to 10. Of course, he didn't have the kids nor the menopause. All this to say that those who do not have their genes helping them must pay the price of fighting the weight through calorie restriction, calorie cycling, carb cycling,exercise,...whatever it takes. We, shorties are reputable for overcompensating with our hard work and commitment; so let's do it and enjoy feeling thin too. We deserve it! Most of us know how it feels because most of us have been there. Let's unveil the thin person within us!
