Hello and welcome Smile Please tell us a little bit about yourself and your relationship to roller derby.


My name is Nnegratron. I've been with the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls in Grand Rapids, MI for a little over a year now. I made the Rapid Assault, our C team, in December and I really want to lose weight and get in shape so I can try out for the B team and maybe even one day be an All-Star Smile I'm turning 30 pretty soon, so that's also been a huge motivator. What's your story and your motivation?

Hello, I'm Stabby McCutcha with the Arch Rival Roller Girls in St. Louis, MO. I started 2 years ago, made the Rookie then B then All-Star team; I'm starting graduate school, so I couldn't compete with the All-Stars this season Sad But I'm still playing locally for the Rebel Skate Alliance, championships this weekend!!! DERBY LOVE ALL

Welcome, Stabby! Nice to see another derby girl on here. Hope this group sees more action. I'd really love to hear what others are doing to stay in top shape for our very unique sport.

Hello ladies! I'm Lily Stomplin with the Bath City Roller Girls in Mt. Clemens, MI.

Nnegratron - I've met you before in the Grand Rapids gathering in December. Unfortunately, I remember that night quite well because I tore my right PCL and was off-skates for 3 months. As a result, I'm back where I started last year (weight wise) and finally ready to make another stab at getting in shape.

I'm happy with the team I'm with, but I'm convinced losing weight will help me be even faster and harder to hit/catch on the track!

Hey!

I'm from Brighton Rockers in the UK. I fractured and dislocated my ankle in May 2011 and had 5 months of non weight bearing and am still struggling with it on a daily basis. I've just started having my physio sessions on skates so am getting back there slowly after having had 14 months off skates. The only thing is that I just let myself go and put stack loads of weight on. My confidence has really died and I feel so unfit right now but am hoping I can get my diet and fitness back on track and gradually get back.

I've taken on the role of Head NSO and Head of Merch since the break which has kept me involved but I am sooo dying to get back on the track!

I downloaded this app today so am new to it but it's awesome there are other roller girls here Smile

Hi everyone

I'm Anna, Soren KickHard from Oxford Wheels of Gory, UK, ... I've been off for a bit, I've broken my hand (derby injury of course) but I've managed to loose a bit of weight trying to eat healthier food Very Happy ... my goal is to get to 52-53 kilos so I am faster seeing as I am supposed to be a jammer Smile ... Snow Mercy, I am sure you'll start to feel confident again, one thing is to not to push yourself too much at the beginning, small and achievable goals will help you get more confident in a shorter period of time Wink then u can push more

Hey there I am Sophia and I currently skate for Croydon Rollerderby in the Uk.
All the talk about carbs and stuff always confused the hell out of me but now I am facing it front on. My goal is to bulk up a bit and well get a healthy eating habit into place.
