Wondering what difficulties anyone else is going through with their pregnancy. I have hypothyroid and border line GD.

What do you have to do about the borderline GD? My midwife has me doing the food journal and taking my blood sugar. But this only watching my carbs is not working quite right for me. I guess I am just not like other GD patients.

My nutritionist has me eating a 1500cal diet. Low sodium, low carb, just about low everything. I have to keep a food journal also. It's hard, like any kind of lifestyle change. Good Luck! I know it is hard and frustrating. I have issues with gaining A LOT of weight, so I am looking at this as a challenge for myself to make a healthy baby and to keep my weight gain down. I know you can't "diet" while pregnant, but I can eat healthier and use self-motivation to make better choices and not over indulge.
