Having trouble w/ the pushups on the first dvd. I'm on week 3 and loving it!!!

Any suggestions to improve pushup strength?

My recommendation would be to do them first from your knees. It's more important to get more reps using your knees than less without your knees. Over time you will notice your strength will improve and you will transition away from using your knees. Hope this helps.

Also, don't focus too much on the amount, that will come eventually. Focus on your form and doing proper pushups.

I would say form is vital, but don't not count the amount in that as well. P90X is about pushing your limitations so that your boundaries expand. When you start you won't be able to do nearly what you can when you finish.

I've finished 10 Rounds of P90X, and today cranked through 360 push ups and 135 pull ups in a Chest & Back routine. When I started on day 1 5 years ago I didn't break 75 total in the whole workout.
