I thought I'd start a PA/ZA thread so we can tell each other about books we like and dislike Smile

I really enjoyed "A Very Good Man", Which was free when I got it. Bummer, by the time I finished it the rest of the books in that series and that book were no longer free. Lesson learned, If I like it when I get into it I am gonna go back and download the rest of the set.

What?!? Dang it!! I didn't know the others were free at that time too!!

Thanks for mentioning that. I hadn't even thought about checking on the rest of the series.

Yeah, that was an awesome book. I loved the idea behind that character. It reminded me a lot of the way King creates his characters. The start was great where he was reflecting that people might not like him because he would shoot them in the head at the drop of a hat lol.

Did you read the rest of the series? I may have to go back and buy them.

No, but I will eventually because I liked the first book so much.

But I have a ton of free books on the Kindle and I hate to spring for a pay-for book when I haven't read the free ones yet.

Mountain Man is another one that I really enjoyed:

... and the second book is out but I have other (free) books lined up to read.

This book is free today - I have not read it. It is a collection of 13 ZA short stories:

Oh!

I should mention I get two push mails a day that have free and discounted books listed. That is how I knew about A Very Good Man.

Pixel of Ink is one:
