My weigh in is 129! After high protein high calories yesterday. Even 1 square of 60% chocolate. I was a little depressed.

Hi Janette Smile

That is great! I had two low cal days with the next day weigh-in 192.7 (same), then a bounce to 193.2, then yesterday I got back on track and ate 2100 calories and hit a new low this morning.

That first low cal day was from getting sick though. I was a bit leery of eating after I got sick till late in the afternoon. All better now though.

Here I am! Darin, I'm so glad you're okay... I was so worried something had happened. Glad to see that's not the case Smile I'm sure I'm going to have to figure out a lot about how this site works because right now I'm pretty lost, LOL. I am on my iPhone right now though and this browser sucks, so I bet it'll make more sense when I'm home and back on my computer. I just wanted to check in while I was at the park though and say hey! Smile

DH wants to start NK next week so I have to get my mind ready for the challenge. That means tracking for myself and him. A lot if work.

Yeah, it is a lot different than what we are used to. One of the best thing is that we aren't subjected to iron fisted capricious tyranny from anonymous 'admins'. Smile

That is great Janette! The tracking will be a pain but having him on plan should make a lot of other things a whole lot easier Smile

Yay! Excited as well to see that all is ok with Darin! Was already missing your responses to other posters! Had a great WI this morning, down to 168. Giving IF a whirl. Did it on point yesterday for day 1 and today doing GREAT. a little wierded out today since woke up so early and started my 8 hour window about 430 so just now finishing my last meal of the day. I let almost 4 hours go by w/o eating so seemed like I had to cram a lot of fat/calories into the last 4 hours but def feeling full and content with life and feel like the rest of the day is FREE from even thinking about what I wanna eat cuz i'm done for the day. Didn't weight/measure food today but think I will def begin that again with tomorrow's 8 hour because i'm still too new to stop and want to make sure i'm truly hitting my prot goals and fat goals. i already know my carbs super low so no worries there. also i struggle to remember what i even ate most days lol so that just helps me keep better track. no workout on the schedule today which feels strange lol but hopefully i can get a little walk in later this eve with my mini weenie dog Smile

Thanks for adding me to this forum! looking forward to figuring this website out a bit more! Very Happy

Yes, def will be a lot of work for you but eventually he will catch on and help I'm sure? Then like Darin said it will be much easier to be living w/ someone that follows the same plan as you - at least I'm finding that to be true for me. My boyfriend, who I live with has been low carb for 10+ years and lost over 100lbs and has kept it off. He doesn't follow any plan and includes bananas and oatmeal in his eating plan - which I don't but everything else is low carb and proteins since he is a heavy weightlifter he wants more protein in his WOE.

Anyway, good luck with DH! I love knowing that my guy is eating in such a healthy way that hopefully he will be around a very very long time! Smile

It'll be nice to have DH doing NK too but he'll be approaching it from a fitness point of view. I hope I do the right amounts for him. I'll probably have questionsSmile

Is he doing it for health or weight loss?

What level of fitness is he trying to accommodate? I mean, like Iron Man stuff or just casual gym stuff?

Hi Robin Smile All is well. Keep us posted on how your IF goes. It should fit like a glove with the appetite suppression of NK/LC.

Yooooo.. so glad to have a new forum where we aren't continuously monitored like Nazi Germany! Have been so sick of the crap on LCF, haven't even been checking lately. I kind of want to go out with a bang, ya know, title a subject "Hey DrjLocarb" then have the body say "GO F*CK YOURSELF! Smile"

So glad to have a new forum!
