I save big money by not needing an anesthesiologist - show Darin one of the surgical saws about to be used on him, Darin passes out, mission accomplished.

Laughing Actually, I think it was the anesthesia and pain meds that helped my BP and heart rate to stay low today, 'cause I was feeling pretty relaxed. Normally, just in routine visits to the doc, my BP tends to go up a bit.

I did some experimenting today and came up with my own LC pizza Very Happy I'm so proud... it even looked like a pizza slice, because I used this pizza shaped container to form the crust in.

I'm so creative Razz

Hey Guys, Congrats on all the losses.

Sorry i haven't been around much, been crazy busy at work.

I leave today for portland, OR for a couple days for work. I was 315.5 this morning, almost a new low, but my lowest was 315 on Sat may 11th, but still pretty close after a mothers day dinner that didn't go exactly as i had planned it. Anyway, motivating and will stick to the LCHF in Portland.

I'm eating here Friday night with clients. I will avoid alcohol unless its 1 glass of spirits - but i need help with what is LCHF friendly - please? -

here is the menu - http://www.mccormickandschmicks.com/menus/0001-Jakes-Famous-Crawfish-Portland-OR/Dinner.pdf

I had not seen this before. It looks like the book is aimed towards epilepsy patients using a ketogenic diet. I don't know if it would be useful for people using keto to lose weight.

Myles, it looks like most anything that's NOT on the dessert menu should be NK friendly so long as you watch your side dishes (stick to veggies with butter, or a side salad with Caesar or Ranch). If the stuffed seafood doesn't have any breading on/in it that sounds like a good bet with the brie and the cream cheese. Otherwise any seafood or steak slathered in butter should get you there as well... that's what I normally do now. I'll order a steak some place and ask for a nice big tab of butter to put on top Smile

You're welcome Smile It looks like that place is completely PACKED with fattening meals which is great... lots of butter/cream sauces and things like that. You may want to watch the cream sauce a little because they usually use flour to thicken it so it'll contain a bit of carbs, but nothing that should break the bank if you're not crazy like me and trying for under 10 total carbs a day most days Razz

Mmm that sounds good! I’m finding that I’m way more creative than I ever was when I ate terrible…it was so much easier to eat crap and not think of ways to make the crap healthier but now it’s kind of fun trying new recipes and methods. You go girl!
