Red, they are pulling out all the stops trying to get him to rethink his resignation, so they are landing a jet in my backyard Wink

In all seriousness, his resignation was approved the other day, which was a relief considering he had submitted it 7 months ago!

I am thinking about getting in a 2-ish mile run/jog/death march this morning and then fat fasting for the rest of the day. I know I'm not in ketosis.

Bless me Darin, for I have sinned. It has been 3 weeks since my last shot of coconut oil.

lol one of those VTOLs right???

Is it usual for it to take that long these days?

3 weeks?! Gosh. I bet I've been eating CO every day for the last 8 months straight heh.

Awww *HUGS* Feel better Cheryl! Do you take potassium supplements at all? I don't remember if you said you did or not, but between that and my extra ACV tonic I drink during TOM it seems like that's really helped cut down on the terrible cramping at least.

Cheryl, that sounds awful. I hope you can get some rest. I woke up feeling slightly nauseous and could not face the idea of eating breakfast.

I've only had coffee so far, and managed to swallow wrong and choke, sending liquid up my nose. Not recommended.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how I should log my fried chicken wings when I hopefully fry them later on. They look a bit different than the Buffalo Wild Wings ones (most of them appear a bit bigger, some appear around the same size) so I'm guessing 6 would be more than their listed 36g of protein... and also obviously higher on fat and calories as well. But I just don't know how to track them. I kept searching high and low for some sort of idea of what I should be doing, and every site has them listed so differently. I tried to use the USDA site because they seem accurate but what I never understand is why they're always giving you (on all sites it seems!) weights of the wings with the bone removed (who eats chicken wings like that??) and it'll otherwise just say "1 wing." Okay so is that one FULL wing, therefore two pieces once they're separate? Or is that one piece after they're separate because that's what "1 wing" is when you order it at a restaurant? UGH! Laughing

I'm having a feeling I should have just stuck to the easy stuff until I was done losing or something... I'm about to lose it over trying to figure these dang things out Razz

Eat ur wings Razz

The way I handle situations like this is to choose the food logger *boneless* meat item closest to what I am eating for logging it. I weigh it before eating, log the weight, then I weigh the bones afterwards and subtract for a net amount to log.

Hahaha... probably the best advice anyone could have given me. JUST EAT THE DANG THINGS Laughing

In the end I just wound up assuming they were pretty much the same as Buffalo Wild Wing's wings and left my logger the same. When they were fully cooked they actually did shrink down to look more like their size... I didn't know they cooked down that small Razz

I posted a pic over on the Food Porn thread btw, they were awesome! I fried them in peanut oil, because I was too worried about using canola (someone said it gave a bad taste) or corn (GMO city, lol) and I'm glad it worked out even if the oil was a tad pricey Smile

Well..with Fit Day,they have separate entries for wings and wingettes. Wings are the 2 pieces, wingettes are single pieces already separated-- like what you'd get at BWW.

Also, FWIW, I trusted Fit Days logger, because the wingette's nutrition matched what I had on the bag of frozen "wingettes" I had bought from Publix.

Surgery's done and I'm on my way to recovery. Doc fixed 3 sections of damaged cartilage in my knee and removed plica that was rubbing against the inside of the knee and causing problems. Not sure how the ACL looked--all info I got came from info the doc gave my husband after surgery. But hopefully no news is good news.

Heart rate stayed in the low 40's the whole time, prompting the recovery nurse to ask me if I was a runner, and my BP stayed low as well at 116/68 or so. Great to be healthy Smile Can't wait to be running, skating, and weight training again! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

That is awesome news Chapel! And, wow!, even if my BP was normally in the healthy as a horse range, just being in the hospital would send it shooting up heh.

Wow, that's great! So glad to hear your surgery went well... that's really impressive about your BP and heart rate too, mine probably would have been up just THINKING about surgery. I was the biggest baby ever when I had a mole removed before Laughing

Hoping for a speedy recovery! Smile
