here is a picture from the last time i made ABTs (atomic buffalo turds) or as they're more commonly known "jalapeno poppers" including a close up of one that i embedded within the same image.

I just soften cream cheese in the microwave and mix in a cheddar blend that comes pre shredded, maybe a bit of garlic salt, and i normally chop cooked bacon and mix it in, but for some reason that particular time i wrapped them in bacon. They are better when mixing chopped bacon within the cheese mix. Then just stuff em !

Wow those jerk chicken thighs look awesome! Did you find a LC pre-made sauce, or make it yourself? There was this jerk seasoned and sauced burger I ate in Sandusky Ohio a couple years back that was AWESOME... I've been trying to find a jerk sauce that wasn't too high in sugar since, but they all seemed to be sweet!

Still never made ABT's yet either Laughing I love spicy foods though, so they'd be right up my alley... they always seemed like a lot of work, but I bet they'd be a lot easier the way you were talking with the bacon chopped up in them. Did you grill those ones, or bake them?

I'm glad to have someone else on here who loves talking food and posting pictures, because I'm all over that Laughing

Yep its just a pre-made sauce that is naturally LC! I don't like the jerk with brown sugar in it. heres the ingredients in the one i use: Hot peppers, water, rice vinegar, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, herbs and spices, mace, allspice, xanthan gum, citric acid. It's Auntibev's brand - http://auntiebevfoods.com/

I always bake my jalapenos, never grill. Just used to it i guess. They're a bit tedious in terms of cutting the peppers and removing the seeds and ribs, especially when you make A LOT. But now i usually just do 8 or so - enough to get full. They're so worth any work tho, and the chopping in cooked bacon is super easy mode

They are just some brand from costco - pre cooked - just bake 30 minutes @ 450 and flip halfway through.

Not so much food porn since there's no picture, but I found some great deals on meat today when I went out shopping and I'm trying to decide what to do with it this week! I bought some beef neck bones that have a LOT of meat still on the bone for $1.90 (three HUGE bones with lots of meat!) and three bottom round thin steaks for $1.85 that I'll probably wind up pan frying and melting butter on top of

The necks are a bit more difficult though. I know you can stew them, but I'm not sure what I'd stew them in that'd be suitably LC aaaaaand lower in sodium... most people I know use tomato sauce or broth, and yeah neither of those are great for me probably Laughing I may just add in some veggies and make a nice stock from the bones, and peel the meat off after a few hours of slow cooking. Then I could really do whatever I wanted with it. Eat it as-is or put some Guy's BBQ sauce on it or something Smile

Okay, this is a food porn thread dang it... time for some food porn on my part! Laughing

Here's my last BBQ outing. I know some of you already saw this, but it's yummy so I'm posting it anyway Smile

BBQ Food Stuffs - Yummy!

And here was a recent favorite dish of mine... venison bites, seared to rare and served over miracle rice with a sour cream sauce. I did them up in a spicy chipotle pepper marinade and made it taste kind of like my old steak bowls from Chipotle restaurant. EPIC NK EATING! Cool
