Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

There are religions that regulate every detail of life, eating, washing, sleeping and marriage. These are religious systems – keep all these rules and you will live. But the greatness of Jesus is that He brought no religious obligations and observances whatsoever. He reduced everything to a single principle - loving trust in Christ. Life is not lived by rules. His rule covers all rules – ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God... and all these things shall be added to you’ (Matthew 6,33). Be blessed. REINHARD BONNKE

1 Peter 4:11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

1 Peter 3:21
Amplified Bible (AMP)

21And baptism, which is a figure [of their deliverance], does now also save you [from inward questionings and fears], not by the removing of outward body filth [bathing], but by [providing you with] the answer of a good and clear conscience (inward cleanness and peace) before God [because you are demonstrating what you believe to be yours] through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I LOVE THIS!! If anyone asks us why we needed to be Baptised tell them it's to wash our conscience clean of all sin consciousness; not just the past ones, but every sin we will ever commit.

Praise Jesus for standing in my place so I can stand in His--redeemed, reconciled, forgiven, delivered, cleansed, purified, justified, sanctified, perfected and made RIGHTEOUS by HIS BLOOD! As He IS SO AM I IN THIS WORLD!!

2 Timothy 1:7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Exactly Yvonne! Love this one. It changed my life actually; the Holy Spirit gave this word to my husband a bit over a year ago in response to things going on with his work. Now he's been with a new company for one year after being with the last for more than 23 years. God is blessing all hubby's efforts too. It's wonderful watching what God can do when we're following His lead. Awesome word!

Wow DLynne! What a wonderful testimony!! God really does speak to us, we just have to listen and obey. His reward for our obedience is always beyond anything we can imagine!

Joshua 1:7-9
Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

John 11:35
Jesus wept.

Although it is the shortest verse in the bible, to me it is one of the most inspirational bible verses of all. So many times we get in our heads that Jesus kind of floated above the trials and tribulations of life and never was affected by them. This is not true. He was a passionate man and was affected by passionate emotions at times like the rest of us. This means that He understands.

Sometimes things happen that bring you to the very end of yourself and you find yourself screaming for HELP!! when there is no physical person, even those you love, who can help you. That's when you find the Lord and literally die to self; or you die spiritually, mentally and physically; slowly maybe, but you die none-the-less. I've been there, I've seen the end, I found the Lord. He was there all the time waiting for me to open my eyes, my ears and my heart so He could heal me. Thank you Jesus!!--Diana Ware

"Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh." Rom. 13:10b-14

Luke 10:41-42 (KJV) "And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

ONE thing is "needful" and that is sitting in the presence of our Lord Jesus, which is only possible when listening to or reading in the Word. The Lord will take care of everything else "needful."

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
