Les Welcome to the group!!! That is great about the loss! I have not looked at your food diary but you may want to try adding some other veggies (or even a little fresh fruit) in to slow things down. I would only try one new item every week. Good luck!

Sunkeeper Hi Hi Sunkeeper!!!!

siasiaa You are right! It is one thing to have a little bite to eat but the important thing is to get back on it if you did.

dialup Good to see you!

Myrna LOL! You are right when it feels weird. I know there are some nights when I lie in bed and put my hand on my stomach and think "this doesn't feel like me. Wow I was really heavy there"

Linda Hey Linda! Don't let that bunny taunt you!! Hope you have a great day.

As for me we are having our Priest (Father Tim) over for dinner. So I am preparing steak, twice baked cauliflower (although DH is stopping to get a couple real ones from the deli because he thinks I need to have it to offer), roasted green beans and mushrooms, and sauteed mushrooms for the steak. Will have a glass of wine too. I am sure DH will bring home a dessert, but none for me. I had a late lunch (spinach salad) to help hold me over.

A good Wed morning to all my low carbin friends on FS, how's your day so far?

Myrna, can't really "see" the ribs yet but I can feel them plain as day, have not had that happen in eons. I saw my collar bones a few weeks ago, that was pretty amazing for sure, I really like my collar bones.....

Linda, so happy with your maintaining and good for you sticking your nose up at that bad Easter bunny, the nerve of him to sit in front of you. Easter bunny now on Santa's BAD list. Hey, maybe the Tooth Fairy will come along and steal him to avoid dentist visits.

Julie, I am blue, again. Took long enough but still no doubt, they really like Angie best which is ok, I'll show them!

Jaime, we all know it's a busy week for you so not necessary to explain your absence so long as your sticking to the plan. If the emotions get the best of you now and again it's not a biggie, stuff happens as they say and your entitled right now. Best to just let the feelings happen, suppressing them won't make them any different so just show that your a Mom who loves DD, it's completely understandable.

Rowan, April is going to be your month, get in that saddle, hang on to the reins and go get em. No fooling around, get your back up, beat any temptations, knock down all the demons to get the job done. You can do it, you and I both know it!

Dorothy your such a trooper I think we should all appoint you leader of the band or at least the color guard section of the group. Burn up those calories and get that body svelte looking. Don't forget to drink that water while exercising to flush out all the garbage your working off. Good job.

Gina, your recipe looks amazing, will have to give that one a go for sure. Happy you found the spot to share them don't know why FS can't get them up but it seems it's just a waste of time submitting them. We on the other hand love to see them so we can all have delicious meals. Just goes to prove how great low carbing can be.

Sia if we indulge occasionally it's not a biggie, we all have to learn how to incorporate real life into low carb living, that's the tough part I think. A bit here and there or overindulging on extra carbs one day does not a failure make if we know it and don't repeat it on a regular basis. Just puts all this hard work to shame if we let that happen.

I'm a bit worried, I'm either far to organized which doesn't seem possible, or I'm forgetting a whole lot of stuff as I really don't have much at all to do today with the wedding only 2 days away. I could tell yesterday by DD emails she's getting more excited by the minute. At dinner last night I told DH to lay low and keep his head down, so far so good but the top might blow at any moment should the bottom fall out. Don't see it happening but best to be prepared, I was a Girl Scout you know.

I think it's going to be a great time. I ran into one of her friends yesterday and he told me he's been very busy all week getting ready, how come I ask thinking what do you need to do to get ready? He said he's been running all over town trying to find a new pair of left foot shoes so he can dance with me on Fri. night! Yup, with friends like that can't help but be a good time, it'll be fun.

So with not a whole lot to do today I guess that leaves extra time for Wally or some weights or what ever other form of exercise I can get in to burn off this 7/10's of a lb left to go. Can I do it in 2 days? Can I meet the goal I set back in Sept? Is it really going to happen??????? Then what? The big decision, do I go for 10 more lbs or should I just be happy I achieved the goal? Not a thing to really worry about this week, that'll be a next week problem once things settle down some.

Hope all of you have a really good low carb day, get a bit of moving and shaking in plus lots of water. If you succeed you know you'll be happy tomorrow, you really want to be happy, right?

Thank you for the kind words dialup, it's really appreciated cause this has been something I never thought I could actually accomplish.

Just spent a hour with Wally so he's happy for the day, maybe. I'm not there yet and have to continue on the journey until I am. I still have that bit to go, I'd rather it be tomorrow than cutting it right to the wire on Fri and I'd like to throw a challenge out there to help me today get in just a bit more exercise. How many can log in and say they did at least 15 minutes of some sort of work out today. For everyone that does it I'll do another 15 minutes of something.

It doesn't matter what you do, I'll match everyone of you with some sort of exercise though maybe not match each for each as in you do yoga and I'll do yoga, I don't know how! I'll do 15 minutes of something though for every person that can say they did it too!

Gets you to move and helps me to shed the last bit, come on team, lets do it together!

SUNKEEPER!!!! 7/10 of a pound to go!!?!?!? Hurrah! Well, here's your challenger. I just recorded my exercise for this morning. 1 hr of walking at 4mph and 30 minutes of housework...course, I don't know if you want to count the housework, but.... there are 4 15 minute challenges in that walk, so hop to it! I'll try to find something else to do around here to keep you busy today. You MUST feel great!! I feel great FOR you!

Thanks! I did get one recipe in there before the storm hit (storm=no internet). I just hope I can find my way back to add and read more!

Gina! Wait..... I can't match everyone minute for minute, there aren't enough hours in a day for that one. I will do 15 minutes for you though, you did more than the assigned which is kudos for you!

Off I go for my first match, good job Gina!

Hey Sunkeeper that is so awesome!!!! Congratulations to you and I am sure you will knock that 7/10's out of the park. You just gave me a renewed vigor to an otherwise very tired and dragging day!

Dinner was great last night, but it was after 10 when Father Tim left (my Husband did a lot of talking..lol). 9:30 is bedtime for me so that means that it was 10:30 or after before I got into bed (keeping in mind my work day starts at 5am). Then DH (who possibly broke his toe) woke me at 1:45 am his toe was aching and he got a pain pill. Then at 2:30am he wakes me and said that he is sorry but it was hurting so bad and could I rub it (that is the only thing that has helped). So of course I got up and rubbed it then we went to the sofa and he lay with his foot in my lap and I massaged it. He finally was able to sleep and I got up and went to bed...it was 3:30am. So needless to say it will be a LONG day for me. However, on the upside at least my Husband has finally made an appointment to go to the doctor this morning.

I hope you all have a great day!

I've done Leslie Sansone's evening mile DVD, it's 24 minutes. Before lunch I did something I've never done before, walked up and down the stairs for 10 minutes so I've matched the 15's from Gina and Jaime so far. Computer gets shut down at 5, any more takers today?

Dialup, this one's for you. I put my coat and boots on and went outside! Man is it ever cold, the wind whips right through you but I did a walk around the bush in either a foot of snow or ice, now that was hard walking I can tell you, the 15 minutes was more like my hour this morning on Wally....

Also for you Dialup, the dogs say THANK YOU for making Mommy take us out to the bush, we had so much fun with her there for a change and we beat her on every go round!

I just found the neatest web site for telling you, for your weight, how many calories you burned doing an activity and it even has SEX on it! No more listing it as housework, yeah. http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc

Hey Jaime: I LOVE YOUR TICKER! CONGRATS GIRLFRIEND!!! You would have thought they could have made it sparkle or something for getting to your final destination!!!

Thanks Myrna. I am not sure what is up with my ticker! I need to revise my goal. I would like to lose about 20 more pounds but it is more difficult now. Also, since I am dealing with a lot of emotions and stress right now I am not going to be too hard of myself. I know as long as I keep doing what I am supposed to be doing my body will start responding again. In there for the long haul!!! Smile

Well I did another 45 minutes with Wally at 3 mph just in case more come in this afternoon. If all of this doesn't do away with it I'll give up! Can't wait till it warms up outside so the girls and I can take nice long walks through the bush and down the trail. They are happy with today's outing, have been busy sleeping most of the afternoon away.

I really like Leslie's DVD's Jaime, I have I think 4 of them all with different work outs of different lengths and would recommend them. When I was down in Buffalo my daughter got another one and she loves it. They are all easy to do to the point you can break a sweat but not be falling down done when they are over....unless you do her 5 mile one, it's a killer!

Hey Sunkeeper!

I just came in from a 4-mile run, which took me 42 minutes... But, I think you've done enough exercise for the day and you should just relax and SMILE. You did awesome today! Very Happy
