~crossing my fingers that this post goes through~

Hello all! I have been having the WORST time with FS this week and I've been unable to post.
Yesterday, I was finally able to record a weigh in but still not able to post here.

Easter isn't really a huge deal around here, so I'm not tempted by any candy - and I really hate most Easter candy anyway.
I do however have 2 birthdays within a week of each other in the form of my fiancee's and daughter's.
My fiancee's birthday is really no big deal. My daughter's on the other hand ... she's having a sleep over and I'll be making her cake, along with all of the junk food that will be around. But even that, I'm not terribly worried about. I'll lay in stock of things that I can have and avoid the things that I can't have and it'll all be good.

Angie - I'm glad to see you back!

New members - welcome to the group! You'll find that there are a ton of people here that know a very great deal about any low carb lifestyle that you may be pursuing.

Linda- Great job on hitting goal!

I'm off for a bit but will check in again later.
xoxo
- Toni

Morning all. I hit a BAD rough patch yesterday. I had been feeling sorry for myself because I could't eat candy (I find that slightly pathetic), and my dear dear husband comes home with a bag of M&Ms. He bought them for himself, not to sabotage me, but I was upset anyway! He could see my distress and immediately felt bad. Since starting this WOE in January I have not had any dessert type food. I haven't really needed it, but yesterday was different. After talking it over with him he decided I may want dessert too sometimes so he went to the store and bought me sugar free jello and heavy cream so I could make whipped cream to go with it. After dessert I felt a million times better and the rough patch was over!

Carb Tracker, well said. I guess I didn't mean it when I said I want the Easter Bunny to die. He is needed in my house for a few more years, but after that I hope to never hear from him again!

I HEAR U fluffydiva13... I HAVE A FEW MORE YEARS TOO FOR THE EASTER BUNNY. I SWEAR IT'S THE DEVIL IN A COSTUME!!!

BeautifulYno, you need to have already uploaded your photo somewhere. Facebook, Flikr, Photobucket, etc. Once you've done that, copy the link to the photo, then click on "Go Advanced" underneath the text box here. Next, click on the little icon above the text box that looks like mountains with a sun over it:

That will insert the image code into the body of your text box. Then paste the link to your photo between the image codes. It will look like this:

If the photo you want to post has already been uploaded to Facebook, you'll need to go to the photo, right click on it, and choose "Open image in new tab". Once the image opens in that new tab, you can then copy the link to it from the address bar at the top of your browser.

Myrna, I know it's not blue any more which makes me very blue. I popped up 1/2 lb over night and went back to green, the number is right but the color is gone. Don't know why Angie is 3 lbs away from her goal and she gets blue but I'm 2.4 lbs and I get green. I'm green with envy over her blue, it's just not fair, not at all.

LOL Sunkeeper!! It changes by percentages of the weight you've lost according to how much you "set" to lose. Take a marker and color that dang thing blue, girl! LOL

Edit: I just calculated both of our percentages and, rounded up, you've lost the same percentage as I have (95%). You SHOULD be blue, too! Sad

Ticker will be green again today after the 3 Coors Lights consumed yesterday but they did their job, as Jaime says, pipes all cleaned out this morning. The one problem I have with low carb living is the constipation, it's just no fun, sometimes you have to take drastic action to cure it.

Toni, that's a real bummer the site is giving you grief. Maybe go stand over by Angie, they seem to really like her a lot, might work better. Sounds like you have a busy week ahead too, we'll both fall over by this time next week but hopefully remain on target no matter how much temptation is thrown our way.

So happy Myrna feels better! Back to the normal for you girl, get that exercise in and eat some good stuff. Bet your a bit wobbly after so many days with only broth.

You too Dorothy, get movin and a shakin, it works every time, darn it. Why couldn't something like relaxing reading a book work as well? They sure weren't kidding when they came up with no pain no gain were they?

RaRa, that's one way to stay out of the Easter candy, put in incredible hours of work!

For anyone I've missed it wasn't intentional, hard to get back to each person on every post but you're all a big part of this very active group and it's good to see what's happening in your life each day. I love checking in here each morning to find out how everyone is doing. Looks like most are doing a super job of staying on target. Stay the coarse, big rewards ahead for all that do.

Good Morning Low Carb Counters!

Sun keeper: thank you for worrying about me!Cool

I had dinner with my friends last night...I didn't have to worry about the menu because my friend lost 50 pounds on Medifast....so it was low carb! And delicious....Ham Steak and Green Beans....yum! First real meal I had all week...so glad that is overSmile

I am going to do some cleaning today and get ready for the kids to come home on monday....they are having a fabulous time....and the Easter Bunny has visited them like 3 times....so I don't think he needs to visit here!

I;m going to go look at eKatherine's new pictures! I bet they are good and thin!

Have a great LC day!

Just saying Hello !! Working day 2 of 7 day stretch of night shift !! Gotta love some over time !!

I ate 10 chicken wings tonight (no breading so still low carb) along with some spinach, however now I feel "stuffed". I haven't felt like this in over 3 weeks and I do not like it !!! Not sure why though !!!

Enjoy your family this Holiday weekend ! I just have to give a special blessing to all those in Public Service (police, fire, ems,911 dispatchers and Military). A "BIG Thanks YOU" to those working this weekend (who are away from their families) so we can be safe !!
