Just checking in for the day

Had a hard time getting out of bed today. My breathing problems are getting better finally, so now it seems all I wanna do is sleep. I learned to listen to my body many years ago, so when it says "sleep!", I sleep.
Read through the posts. Looks like lots of good advice has been given. Just one of the reasons I love our group
Myrna, you had asked about the no carb/low carb breads. I don't have a lot of experience with them, but I did have a boxed low-carb bread mix a while back. I had planned on using it at Thanksgiving as part of my low-carb meal, but it didn't turn out all that great. I trashed it and made cornbread muffins out of coconut flour instead. Sorry, but that's all I have to offer on that :/ .. I know it's a wonderful feeling when your clothes start getting too big. Most definitely get you some better fitting pants and sell all those other ones! And don't feel too bad about not measuring yet. I didn't measure myself in the beginning, either. Really didn't care to know the numbers at that time. But, I will say, that once I started measuring, I was really shocked at the inches I was losing every 2 weeks. To me, those are more important than what the scales say.
San, about those jeans that don't fit. Those are great incentives! I hung mine up on the closet door just as a reminder. It wasn't long before I was in them and man, was that a great feeling

You'll get there, girl!
Rockmela, I'd love to try those kale chips, but our stupid small-town grocery store doesn't even carry kale

I'm gonna look for it, though, the next time I go to Walmart. And those 50 pounds CAN be lost! Mine are gone, and I don't plan on ever finding them or even looking for them again LOL
Rachel, shame shame for not taking your measurements again lol Seriously, though, I know you've been going through a tough time. Just don't you give up! I'd hate to have to come and knock on your door!

(Although, I'm sure we'd have a lot of fun and laughs!)
Toni, so happy that you're here to help admin! I still have to fight for computer time

but I'll be here as much as I can. And congratulations on the big news about your business! Very proud for you!
Julie, thank you for taking on the task of merging the info. I think it will be very helpful

You and I must have been on the same wavelength (kinda) last night. I didn't sleep eat, but I took a bite of my daughter's baked potato without even thinking about it. Stuck it in my mouth and thought, "What in the hell are you doing??" LOL! I didn't even chew. I walked over to the sink and spit it out lol. Of course, everyone looked at me like I was a little weird

On the low-carb "to do" list, you might add something about logging your food? That food diary is such a great tool for many reasons.
April, good job on the exercise! I've been saying for months that I'm gonna start back exercising on the Wii Fit again, but my lazy butt needs a kick. It really helped me in the beginning of my journey, and I'm sure it will help you, too.
Jamie, thank you much for your support! And I'm so happy for you and your daughter! Be sure you let us know how the Cigar Lounge adventure went!
Stacy, so happy to hear from you! And you lost 3 pounds! Way to go, girl!
Congrats also to you,
LynCaro! 10 pounds in that length of time is great! So very happy for you!
Sue, I hope those egg muffins are serving their purpose! My favorite kind are the ones made with sausage and ground beef. I usually put a little bell pepper, onion, sage and parmesan cheese in mine, too.
