As we all know, Puertoricans, as well as many other people from every culture and race, like to celebrate anything eating. Well, I was minding my own business, when a family reunion popped on my radar. And I was glad, but at the same time nervous for the enormous amounts of food and snacks that are served in these reunions, not to mention my poor self-control and also the fact that this was going to take place for three days. Well, I arrived and said to myself, "Self, I'm going to be strong, no mindless eating, no nonsense and no funny business. What can I say? I ate everything that dared to cross paths with me. Pina coladas, bacalaitos, gallons of Coke and Pepsi (not literally, but you get the picture), tres leches, hamburgers, lots of barbecued chicken pieces, and lots of crap. Unfortunately, pasteles and arroz con gandules wasn't served but I wouldn't have shown them any mercy. In the end, I ended puking most of it, so I didn't gain any weight to my advantage, and now I'm back exercising again. I'm three pounds short of my 10 lbs personal challenge, so wish me luck. So, to end this, what are you're favorites foods that you can't resist even if you know they will be bad for you.
