Hi Sandy! I'm new too and just started a couple days ago. I've done Atkins before and it works wonders for me. My nurse in-laws are all on me about how unhealthy this diet is, but I just tell them it's pretty unhealthy carrying extra weight, too.
I'm fairly lucky, as I do not have a sweet tooth at all and I really like veggies. I do miss chips, popcorn, pasta, etc. but I'm finding some decent substitutes for my snack cravings.
My husband is a big pasta fan, so I just make spaghetti squash for me and pasta for everyone else. Honestly, I feel so much better when I am on this diet. Much more energy and I don't feel so bloated and disgusting all the time.
