Mallie, if you did it before you can do it again! Youre post is inspiring! If you like sweets I heard you can fill up on sugerfree jello and its only 40 calories for the whole box. I was thinking of keeping plain popcorn around for the crunchy salty cravings and sugarfree jello for the sweets. Good Luck!!!!!

My birthday is July 29th, & I want to be down at least to 255 lbs by then, so only 9 more lbs to lose ~ should be EZ PZ, right? (I hope) PS ~ I've had to modify my weight goal from a previous one I posted on here, because the weight isn't coming off as I'd hoped, mostly because of arthritis pain & very limited ability to exercise. But I've been doing what I'm able, & it is starting to come off so I should be able to reach this new goal easily, then I can have a badly needed hip replacement & will then be able to exercise more & lose the rest of my overall goal weight. Good Luck Everyone!

Well, my Birthday was July 29th, & right now I weigh 258.2 lbs. Didn't quite make it down to 255 yet, but I'm thankful & happy that I am SLOWLY losing weight, & I know that IT WILL HAPPEN SOON. I'm just taking it a day at a time & doing my best, dealing with serious hip pain. I was recently told by my ortho surgeon that I have to get down to about 225 lbs before he'll do my hip replacement. Their 1st statement of how much I need to lose was only about 1/2 that, but the surgeon has some "new info" that says I'll have a hugely better chance of success after the surgery if I lose the additional weight (it has to do with my BMI, & I don't really understand it all). I was pretty upset & feeling daunted at first, but then I realized that I wanted to lose that much weight & more ultimately, so it's not a huge difference. Just that I have to lose more weight with the hinderance of the hip pain to deal with, so it is taking a lot longer. But that's OK, because IT WILL COME OFF, & I will be thinner, healthier & happier than ever! Blessings & Best Wishes to all of my fellow Goal By Birthday Friends! ((HUGZ)), GLAMMER
