The whole reason I decided to eat healthy and lose weight is for my 40th birthday this year. So this group is perfect!
I started March 4th at 271 lbs and my long term target goal is 160 or less to be in the healthy BMI range of 19-24 (129-163 lb). My short term goal for my birthday is to lose 70 lbs. It's also my folks 50th wedding anniversary in Sept and I would like to "WOW" the family at that gathering.
So far, using The DASH Diet Weight Loss Solution book, I've learned to eat right (need to get more exercise in there daily tho) and have lost 18.2 lbs. Was a little stalled the past week 1/2 to 2 weeks due to some cold or something (didn't cheat, but didn't lose or gain either). I'm back and can breath better, so back to kicking fat's butt and losing weight.
