I am doing a 2 week cleanse thru peer trainer and am having some success so far. Lost 4 l s first week, it more importantly, I am off the sugar, dairy , gluten yo yo. I have stopped eating to stop cravings and am eating when hungry. My energy and mood are up. I have added lots if vegetables and have eliminated corn, soy dairy sugar, wheat, eggs And toxins by eating organic. The. I will add one thing at a time back so see how I feel. I won't add back gluten. Sugar if I am a smart because I already know they are bad for me. I HAVE TO ADMIT TO MYSELF THAT SUGAR IS LIKE A DRUG FOR ME. I get hooked.

You're not alone. All the processed foods cause cravings and hunger. I feel so much better when I'm avoiding them. And usually loose weight whenever I'm successfully avoiding processed sugars, gluten, and most dairy. I'm still eating eggs and cheese sometimes. What is a peer trainer? I'm working with a nutritionist and a life coach.

I have a similar story & hope we can share successes, failures, trials & tribulations. I went through an elimination diet & found I am gluten & lactose intolerant, and I am a sugar addict. After being completely off added sugar for about 8 weeks, I let my emotions get the best of me & caved to sugar cravings over a weekend, but did a 5-day raw food cleanse purchased from a local raw food restaurant. Since then, for the last 3 weeks, I'm sugar free again. I'm now deciding if I should allow myself the very occasional, limited portion added sugar treat.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
