Glad I found this group! Day 10 for me and I'm feeling amazing Smile

Protein and veg day today (I'm on the cruise phase). I like to have a salad with shaved roast beef for lunch. YUM

Hi all, just a quick update. I'm almost there!!

My friends and family are commenting that I'm looking better and I can fit into a shirt I bought online last year that I was too big to fit when it arrived.

I'm feeling healthier, and confident and less like a marshmallow.

Almost up to the consolidation phase... about 85 days of it at 5 days per pound Smile

Guys your results are really in inspiring! I am in the 4th day of attack and start to feel nervous about the cruise phase... all these results in so few days are too easy to get used to!
Quick question: how many days of attack phase did you do? On the dukan site, seems that in 5 days I was supposed to lose like 2 kg, while I lost almost 4 in 4 days (ok I have been training as well) so I guess as soon as I start the cruise it will be slow as I have to stabilize....
bah...either way, I feel as if the journey will start now with the cruise...the attack is just getting a couple of kilos off to enjoy your clothes while you suffer for 3 months!

Shoushy, the dukan diet is a high protein diet. Try to buy the book or get more info on their website www.dukandiet.co.uk.

ME TOO! I AM THINKING ABOUT EITHER SWITCHING TO THE DUKAN PROGRAM OR STAYING ON THE ATKINS DIET. IVE BEEN ON ATKINS AND REALLY HAD GREAT SUCCESS. NOW I THINK MY BODY IS USED TO IT, SO I AM DEBATING CHANGING IT UP A BIT.

To anyone that fears the Cruse phase..

It still works, my weight loss has slowed just a tiny bit. I love Duken, its a miracle diet for me! No counting, no cravings and no hunger! The weight just falls off you! I'm down 15 lbs today after about two weeks in Cruise. Smile

hi everyone - I'm new to Dukan and really loving it. did Attack for 7 days and finishing up my first week of Cruise, down 10 pounds easily. I did Atkins for a long time and lost weight with it, but it just wasn't working after my last pregnancy (6 months of bedrest)

I am always nervous on my PV days and haven't really given into "eat as many veggies as you want" I'm more of a meat eater anyway, so I've been trying to ease into veggies and see which ones work best for me.

tonight I'm going out with my hubby for our 6th anniversary dinner for sashimi (sushi w/o rice) A little miso soup and lots of fish, sounds perfect!

"No cravings"? I crave salty foods and bread all the time.
And the interesting part, I checked out the foods I crave and what I need to eat to stop cravings.

According to this list, I need high protein foods. And I'm on Attack phase. Confused

My cravings were gone by noon on the first day during attack. It was great....and I'm a carbivore. I wish I found this diet 35lbs ago (which took me a year) as I went down 8.6lbs after just 5 days. It has slowed down for sure but from now until the end a steady weight loss will be just fine with me.

Love love love Dukan. Knowing a celebration meal is around the corner is all the incentive I need not to cheat. I have plenty of exercise for my work outs and I have no temptations. This will power is awesome!
