I just started fat secret today but I did Atkins in the past and lost a lot of weight. I am not doing so well now as I have only lost 5 pounds in the last 4 weeks and I am in the induction phase. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Another question I have is how do I change my diet type fro AHanlin's own to Atkins?

Hi this is my second time doing Atkins first time I lost 40 lbs in 4 mths and kept it off for over 2 yrs. I put the weight back on after my car accident 1.5 years ago now I've been told by the Doc. to go back and do it all over again. Unfortunately this time I can't do as much active physical exercises due to my injuries so I have a feeling this is going to be a slower process. I have been going for 2 weeks and only lost 4 pds. You really have to add active exercise into your daily plan to lose the weight fast. Sorry can't help about the AHanlin's vs Atkins change over I've never heard of AHanlin but if it were me I'd probably just switch cold turkey on a Monday but hey that's just me. Smile

You are not doing Atkins correctly if you have been in the induction phase for 4 weeks. That's only 2 weeks and then you move on to Phase 2.I'd like to change my diet plan to Atkins, too, so I'll be looking for the answer.

If you have problems with legs, ask the doc if you could do water aerobics or water walking. Since the water holds you up some, it's much easier. You can also do all kinds of upper body and chair exercises. There are tons out there if you Goggle it.

I have lost 55 lbs since March 13th of this year. The only phase I have been on is Induction. But I am thinking that my DANDR may be different from whatever Atkins you are using? 20 Net Carbs a day. I have 15 lbs left to go right now. In another 10 lbs I will probably add back veggies I have been missing and maybe even some fruit.

You do have to exercise and that is something I have been lax with lately. Mainly because of my job. and the weather. Too hot to do much other than pant.

To change the diet you are on click on "my fatsecret" then on the right hand column click on "my diet", then scroll down to "change the diet that I'm on".

FS veteran here. I'm back to lose the baby weight. Atkins worked the best for me and I do the whole foods version. I am completely gluten-free but since I'm still nursing I can't do induction just yet. I'm shooting for 60-100 net carbs per day, but cutting out grains and most dairy.
