Some people have been trying to make trouble.

The member in question is no longer part of this group. It is one thing to be snarky another entirely to post misinformation and scare people with lies about Atkins.

Lets get back to the fun stuff of Atkins, Losing weight and eating great!

There are two new moderators now to help out. I am very sorry for the confusion and nastiness you had to endure.

Yeah.. I am sorry. I have a lot going on including potty training my little one.

Deniestra and ljessica0501 will be helping out now. I am very sorry that I was not here to help you guys out. IT was all so brutal.

I have known Denisetra a while and she really is Atkins Savvy.
I have recently met ljessica0501 and I am sure she is going to be a great help too.

Thanks guys!

hello! new here and new to Atkins! Just entered my food of today and surprised that it came up to a total of 33 in net carbs. I am not even sure if it calculated the net carbs correctly since the chicken soup was homemade. Anyway, I am reading as much as I can about Atkins. Looking forward to learning more on how to do it the "right way".

I am not new but still missed it all thankfully! Congrats on the two new mods, and good luck with the potty training!
It’s not perfection–it’s persistence in the pursuit of being healthy. If you stumble and fall, then you simply get back up again and start anew. That’s what makes this journey one worth taking day in and day out. The bottom line is this: NEVER EVER GIVE UP and keep going even when you think it’s just not worth it anymore. IT IS! ~Jimmy Moore

My experience is that you need to enter each ingredient of the soup individually and at the exact amounts. Also, if you are using raw ingredients, make sure you use the raw version on fatsecret... not any cooked versions (they seem to make assumptions for you).

Hi I am new to Atkins as well glad I missed the fuss. Anyhow I really need to finish reading the book and study the foods you can eat more. I have been eating carrots and now find I shouldn't have been on induction. That has probably slowed down my weight loss. But at least I lost weight didn't gain so thats good. I am enjoying being on this site with all the help from everyone. Nice to know so many on your side.....
May you always have

Hi just joined this forum, been in fatsecret for about 2 weeks and at Atkins for about 6 weeks. Lost 37 lbs so fat even though the ticker does not show that. Ha Ha

I've heard all the naysayers in the past and I just consider the soure and go on. They,, well never mine.. mostly uninformed and refuse to read for themselves the science behind this program..

Anyway great to be here and looking forward to supporting and being supported by the wonderful group I see here.

Yesterday was, today is, tomorrow will be.
Always forward, one day at a time.

Started Atkins mid Jan 11 335 Only found fatsecret in late Feb

Hi! I just joined Fatsecret and already really like the website and the app for my Iphone. I've been on Atkins for about 2 weeks and have already noticed my clothes are looser, but have only dropped a couple of pounds. Does this sound right?

yes Chiwalker ,perfectly normal. Some people lose on the scale at first and some lose the inches. Everyone is different, and that's okay. The scale will eventually catch up to the inches.

In this life you'll have some trouble...but when you worry you make it double...don't worry, be happy
Ha,ha,ha....good job moderators....for "de-grouping" the snarky one. You don't have to do Atkins if you don't want to...I am always amazed by the haters who believe it is their mission to straighten us out. No one harped on me for the donuts or chinese food but mention "Atkins"...off the charts..
You have handled it well...Don't sweat it. I for one am glad to be her among friends

Glad that I missed all the trouble. There are always going to be those who want to stir the pot. I just find that it is lack of knowledge on their part, I know what I know and nobody will deter me. Atkins works so well if done properly. It is a very healthy way to eat for life and I am loving it! So glad to have this group for support, no matter where we are on this journey, we always need support. Hope everyone is having a great atkins day!

I was just reading your post, I see all of the other posts are over a yr old. Is there any forums on here for Atkins up to date?? I am also on the Atkins site, but I log my foods on here. This site is great, I am glad that I found it.

I didnt even see that! A year old, omg. I am not sure why there isnt more recent posts. Well, the atkins site is up to date. I find this a great spot to log foods as well. Makes it so easy to see exactly what we are eating. Oh well, glad that you pointed that out to me. Do you blog on the atkins site? I will look for your posts.

Actually those old posts are TWO years old and am wondering if we even still have moderators since apparently there haven't been any posts in the intervening years. Am guessing whoever was causing all the trouble must have been successful, unfortunately.

I also am following the Atkins on their site but do prefer this site for support. In any event, looking forward to finding new buddies and great support for the journey to goal weight!
