I am a new user of fatscret. I also just purchased a blackberry curve. I am technology challenged. Can someone tell me how I download the app for the blackberry?

You have to download the Blackberry app...then search for fatsecret and it will pop up...just download straght to your phone

Ok! I got the the app downloaded onto on my blackberry storm. I go to put info to sign in and it does not allow me too. I guess I just need to input my food and exercise from the website on the internet for now. pookie19699

no help from me - I am in the same boat, I have a Curve 8330, and the app does appear in App World for me at all. I use Verizon if that makes any difference (it shouldn't). I have tried just going to the website on my phone, but some things I can do (modify exercise or amounts of food) and others I can't (add new exercise or food).

I have a verizon storm and no problem with the app. I found it in the downloads folder on the main screen after downloading and installing... I downloaded the app using appworld which you get from the main blackberry website if you don't already have it...I would certainly recommend getting the application working on your phone cause then you can input the data before it's forgotten... The download is an OTA (over the air) download.

You need to download BlackBerry App World first.
For the technologically challenged:
from your home page, click the key to the right of the green phone that has 7 dots to take you to all your icons.
Select BROWSER which is a globe with a yellow arrow and single click.
In GOOGLE type "BlackBerry App World" then hit the little key with the left arrow below "del". Once it searches double click on the top entry, then click software and download. Once in App World click the "magnifying glass" along the bottom and search for FatSecret then download.

Basically if you have a Blackberry besides needing App World you must also have the 4.6 or higher browser which unfortunately unless you have the Curve 8350i or later (or other later models) you can't get the 4.6 browser. I have the Curve 8330 with Verizon and the highest browser I can get is the 4.5. Yes I feel the burn, so stop asking!!
