I am back to Atkins. I gain all the weight back I lost in 2011 and some. I am determine to loss this weight once and for all. I know I can do it and like in the past I will.

Best of luck, Gold. It is definitely a must to change your view of food for the rest of your life if you want to keep those pounds off. Not easy! Again, good luck.

Will I am trying weight watchers this time around. I have lost 20 pounds in 2 months. For me that is good.

I find that I'm not a hungry all the time on Atkins as I have been on other diets. Guess my body needs some fat along with the veggies. Just no bread or potatoes!

Yes, Atkins works best for me, too. Never have missed the carbs. I'm up to 50 net carbs a day now. Atkins works if you follow all 4 phases as you are supposed to. Protein keeps you feeling satisfied the longest, followed by fat. Carbs leave you hungry after an hour - or was that Chinese food? LOL

I'm not sure if you're saying you get only 50 total grams of carb per day or not, but they do recommend 225-325g per day for a 2000 calorie diet for good health. While lower that number might keep your weight down, it's not actually good for your total health. Carbs should = about 55-65% of your total least that's what the USDA guidelines say.
