Glad to find this group to share our experiences with the 5:2 regime!
I started it on the 5th Jan and 11 weeks later I've lost 23lb, so I'm pretty happy so far
I'm hoping to lose another 6lb over the next 7 weeks so that I'll be under 12Stone for my holidays.
That's the plan anyway!
I found it difficult to begin with, but now it's not so bad. I do tend to eat and drink whatever I like on the 5 normal days (wine and some take-aways, cakes, chocolate etc) which has made it such a great diet (in that I'm not on a diet most of the time!)
A typical fasting day
Lunch - a couple of boiled eggs
Dinner - Cheese (a "single" ) and ham toasted sandwich (3 slices of white bread)
And I do drink white coffee regularly during the day (I know the diet says it should be black, but I use semi skimmed milk and I find it gets me through the day better).
