I was very overweight as a teen, but followed weight watchers and had managed to keep to my goal weight until my 40s. Now I am 57 and have the highest goal weight they allow for my height. Each month before my weigh in, I find I have to either do low carb to lose a few pounds (which I know is water weight) to meet my goal or pay for being a few pounds over. I'd really like to lose these last few and just keep them off!

I can totally relate, frenchie! I'm 53 & have a similar story having been overweight as a child, struggled with sugar issues on & off but able to more easily maintain my weight after having kids & until a few years ago. I'm blaming menopause, but since then its been so much more of a struggle with many ups & downs, both on the scale & with sugar. This web site has helped tremendously -- logging my food & exercise, journaling, & connecting with others here. The support here has been great! Send me a friend request if you're interested in staying in touch & good luck to you!
