I recently turned 59, so I guess next year I'll have to move to the 60's with under 10 lbs to lose group. Laughing

I started doing body pump and spin classes about 7 weeks ago and so far have been doing well. I'm getting a little stronger every week. We have weight loss/maintenance challenges at work multiple times a year so am enrolled in our current one. The challenge is to maintain or lose weight. My challenge is that with doing the body pump class, I'm thinking that I'm going to be putting on muscle which weighs more than fat. Soooooo, I asked our exercise physiologist to not only record my starting weight, but also to record my BMI. My physical weight is about the same, so I'll be curious to see what the results are at the end of the challenge in 4 weeks. I'll keep you posted. Wish me luck!

Hey there. Hope you have good experience with your plan. Not seeing my weight go down and am seeing some firming from increased weights and treadmill work. Nice to have some supervision to help with tracking it. Feeling stuck myself after weight went up 10 pounds with hormone replacement therapy changes. Kept good weight for over 3 months while I tried to manage the night sweats and hot flashes but went back on when exhausted. geez, not real thrilled with this aging stuff. I am 57 now and finding so many shifts in how my body is. Good luck!
