Hey Everybody...I'm Darlene from Balrimore (Go Ravens!!!)
Well I too have been on Fatsecret for quite sometime, but i had left for awhile as I had to have several surgeries and between not being able to move about much and meds too..I was a bit of a mess....I had lost a good 28lbs this April 2012 but since , have gained it all back...I am now ready and raring to get back on the weight loss train and had some time to heal...so onward and upward..(like a herd of turtles, lol )I have fallen several times in the last few months and have reinjured my spine and now am facing yet another surgery...in the near future...
regardless, I want to make it a point to take off the extra weight and stick to it..I wanna be the girl that my mind tells me I am...and yet my body can't seem to keep up with...sorta bassakwards and all that...ugh...I turned 50 this past November and feel like i shuld be in my prime..and yet..Im not ..at all..still a ways to go ..as the health issues remain..I had a botched surgery ..followed by 5 corrective surgeries, and yet..still having perty serious issues...and altho I am in pain most of the time, i have the drive to do this again...i am usually a happy go lucky person and a good friend, so if you feel up to it, pls stop by and say hey. a little about me other then the negative, I am a singer songwriter..i play guitar , flute and keys...i like to write my own music but am a slow rock kinda girl..Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Stevie Nicks, Jethro Tull, Seger, Elton...and ..and..and..i have a super broad playlist of artists and groups i love <3 i am also embarking on several novels since i no longer work outside of my home..i like the arts as well..and i like motorcycles and sporty cars..I'm italian...a Scorpio...and just a down to earth person..I am friendly and kind...and a good listener...well enough about me...let's talk about you...That was my Darlene from Baltimore in 60 seconds, lol
