Hi Cassandra - there's a bit of a string of conversation under the heading 'First Time Posting', which I've just found. Lots of people feeling positive about the future while acknowledging that it ain't easy. I bet 99% of the people on this site have tried at least once before.

Congratulations on losing all that weight last year. Shows you can do it again. Now you know what might happen (again, I bet most people have had that experience) you can plan to keep it off this time.
Tomorrow is another day. And it might be even better.

Hi Cassandra- And Congratulations for starting again! And I'm here for very similar reasons. I've never been much for online diet sites, groups, and such. It doesn't really fit my macho self image I pretend I have Smile. But I'm anything...the more I put in the more I'll get out. I also think this will add an amount of accountability to keep me going too. Keep it up I'll probably see you around.

Hey, Cassandra! Glad you're here! I'm here for the same reason. I joined a long time ago, but never got serious about losing weight until I went to Weight Watchers in August. As of today, I've lost 35 pounds! I have another 30 pounds to go. Keep plugging away! We can do it!

Hey Cassandra. I just looked at my calendar and I first started using this site in Sep 2010!! Just by keeping a food journal I was able to manage my calories and lost 30 lbs. Then figured I could slide, and slide I did, right back and then some to over 330 ... so don't despair, it's worth another go!!
