hey ! wow you want to loose 151? & I'm struggling to lose 100. I'll be your buddy. I could use all the help I can get.

I just joined the group a short while ago as well... Still trying to find my way around the forums but it seems as though there isn't really much 'chatter'. I'm doing a doctor's supervised low carb and low calorie diet. Been doing really well on it and I find that keeping track of everything on the fatsecret Ipad app really helps.. it helps me think about what I'm eating.

I started the end of last June at 267 pounds, wearing a size 22/24 and today I weigh 155 and am a size 4. I have 15 more pounds to go but I can tell you I feel fantasic. The biggest advice I would give anyone is not to let a slip defeat you. If you slip up DO NOT beat yourself up or internalize negative thoughts...let it go and keep working on it. Write things down even random thoughts because when you look at them in a few days it is easier to look at them objectively and learn how to change patterns. In the beginning make sure to write positive messages to yourself or quotes that you can leave on the bathroom mirror for first thing in the AM or places where you would have difficulty. When you have negative thoughts try to replace them with positive ones because you have to get out of the beating yourself up mindset to be successful long term. I have been over weight for years and it was a huge struggle to stop the negative internal dialogue but I do know for a fact that it can and has to be done to be successful long term. I wish everyone could feel as good as I do today and I am willing to help in any way that I can. I have been an inspiration to many friends who are now doing what I have done and I love seeing the success on them...It also makes me very happy!!
