Hi everyone. Mu biggest challenge is eating after dinner. I think that I just let down toward the end of the day. Anyone have any suggestions on how to maintain till bed time? No suggestions to eat more please!

Maybe just try to grab something to drink first. Then wait 15 mins. If youre not filled up then grab a goodie and cut it in half. Have the rest tomorrow nite. That way you know you can have it and there is something to look forward to. This approach has been working for me as I am an avid junk food junkie and a nite time eater. Been in FS for 6 days and lost 3 lbs. Im tuening 51 in a couple of weeks so Im very happy just being somewhere there are others doing what Im doing.

Hey that is my issue also. The best thing is to plan to get fruit or some other local snack. Fruit is the best choice.

If you have a problem with chocolate then break it up into single bits [if it's a bar cut into small chunks] freeze them! Only get one out at a time so that if one is enough you do not eat because you got them out. Chocolate melts at body temprature so as soon as it's in your mouth you get the kick, but as it is cold it takes much longer to melt. It's cheaper as well!!!

Also pomagranets are great it takes so long to pick all the bits out that you feel as if you have been eating forever...

Hello - my technique for avoiding too much evening eating is to "break my appetite" with a semi-meal at about 5 pm. Not a snack - a mini-version of a proper meal. That means I eat much less at dinner time two hours later ...

Ok, I've been doing this for 2 days and already am craving a piece of chocolate and a glass of red wine in the evening. I am working on eating only 1200 calories a day - any suggestions?

There's no problem with chocolate and wine in the evening- provided they are within your calorie limit! : )

Try having lots of veggies like green beans, broccoli and a small potato. Then you can afford that glass of wine.

I AM A NIGHT EATER TOO. RATHER THAN FIGHT IT OFTEN I SPLIT DINNER IN HALF AND DINE TWICE. ALSO, ANY SNACKS ARE SAVED FOR AFTER 4PM WHEN MY APPETITE KICKS IN. THIS WAY I CONSUME THE SAME AMOUNT BUT SPREAD IT OVER MORE HOURS. EATING LATE DOES NOT BOTHER ME SO IT WORKS.

BREAKING THE NIGHT EATING MAY NEVER HAPPEN FOR ME. I TRY BUT THE RESULTS HAVE NEVER BEEN GOOD. NO MORE FIGHTING IT. REDISTRIBUTING MEALS DURING THE DAY HELPS ME TO STAY WITHIN MY CALORIE LIMIT.
